Its design concept is based on a single card with a fully open and flexible front plane and standard pluggable interfaces. Client services can be connected directly in a pay-as-you-grow approach. This offers the highest flexibility and scalability with minimum cost and footprint. Several card variants are available, offering 400Gbit/s or 1200Gbit/s interface capacity on a card and optional built-in Layer 1 encryption technology that protects data in motion against cyberattacks. By using a new form of open OTN cross-connect technology, our FSP 3000 OpenFabric™ Series eliminates the boundaries of legacy OTN solutions and meets the most stringent metro and edge aggregation network requirements.
